It’s not that I’m slacking, it’s that I’m…um…content-gathering. Yeah, for sure. That’s what I’m doing. This month-long skiing and climbing trip is a research and content-gathering R&D research reconnoissance trip to the Pacific Northwest. All for this website. I’m in Mt. Hood, Oregon. I left Whistler yesterday morning, enjoyed the 10.5-hour travel day (in opposition to a 6-hour drive), and am now at Surface Week at Mt. Hood. There’s so much good stuff…coming soon. For now, though, I have to head to help with a Surface Relay Race at the Windell’s Camp Campus.(…)

Snow notwithstanding, we knew turns existed. Somewhere. Anywhere. With an after-dinner text, snow withdrawal masked by a glimmer of hope, and individual servings of skin wax, we headed up a south-facing slope the following morning. May 13.
