Beartooth Scenic Byway for Toyota and Outside

Spaghetti was the star of the show. Katie and I, as always, are just happy to be in her dignified presence.

For its client Toyota, Outside TV produced a 3-day shoot with our little family on one of America’s Scenic Byways, the Beartooth Highway. The content from it appeared on TV, web, and in print.

After spending a good amount of time on the Beartooth Highway in the past, I was thrilled to be able to share it with Katie. She’s very into car camping and quick access, and both of those are readily available on and adjacent to the high-elevation road connecting Red Lodge to Cooke City, Montana. We were able to share our views on responsible recreation and camping, road trips, and happiness. Kayaking, cycling, hiking, and even taking Spaghetti out for a paddle on a little ducky…I really enjoy my job sometimes.

I’ve worked with the talented Outside TV crew on numerous occasions and I hope to continue doing so long into the future.

Thanks to Toyota for its interest in promoting responsible recreation on our highway-accessed public lands. America’s Scenic Byways—which are throughout the USA—are truly a gift from generations past.
