This was a pretty random trip to one country I barely knew about and another country I didn't know about.
I even crossed through a country that claims to be autonomous but isn't actually a country at all, Transnistria. A breakaway state, recognized by no one but itself.
When the Soviet countries split up, apparently they left a lot of dreary cement in their wake.
