Patagonia Vacation

My family, having never left the country, was gifted an incredible experience to travel virtually anywhere we chose.
My sister and I, having both spent a lot of time in Patagonia, urged them to choose that part of the world as our shared experience.
Two weeks in Patagonia, shared with my mom, dad, sister, aunt, uncle, other uncle, and Beth seemed like the perfect time to propose to my longtime girlfriend, Katie.
We visited places I hadn’t before seen, stayed in places I would never otherwise be able to stay, watched some of the most incredible wildlife, and ate the best vegetarian food I’ve ever had in South America (quite a low bar to surpass).
It was also my chance to finally see the southern tip of the mainland world after failing to do so following a month-long road trip from Santiago with my friend Adam in 2013, when our van got stuck in a creek one mile from our destination after driving over 3000 miles.
