Montana has this crazy network of wild, dirt backroads.
So of course my Montana-bred friend and photographer, Max Lowe, is going to put together a trip to experience half of the state using just those roads.
Linking up with numerous friends of various athletic persuasions, Max, Graeme MacPherson, and I drove for hours and hours in a new SUV, crossing streams and crawling over rocky roads, all with the goal of multi-sporting our way around western Montana for two weeks. It worked.
